The 2020 AGM of TFTA will be held on 27 March at 19.30 in The Hub at The John of Gaunt School Trowbridge. The President, the Mayor of Trowbridge Cllr David Cavill will be there, and also our new Town Council representative, Cllr Antonio Piazza. After the business meeting, there will be a short classic film – Le Ballon Rouge – and a joint birthday celebration for two of our longest-serving members. Refreshments and drinks will be provided. There is no charge for this meeing. Please email us if you hope to attend so that we have an idea of numbers and how many chairs to provide.

21 April – Lunch at Côte Brasserie, Milsom Square, Bath. £11.95 for 2 courses, £14.50 for 3 courses. Level access on the ground floor from Broad Street. Numbers are limited to 22, so preference will be given to existing members and on a first-come first-served basis. Email to book.

12 May – Un petit café? Members’ coffee morning from 10.30 to 12 noon in the Silver Street Lane area. Details of venue will be given when you book. Members’ friends are also welcome. £3 members, £3.50 non-members. Cake or biscuits included, tea also available.

MEMBERS’ TRIP TO CHARENTON 2020 scheduled for Friday 15 May to Monday 18 May. 20 members will be visiting Charenton homes for the usual fun-filled weekend.

June – one Saturday morning we plan to play boules at The Tollgate in Holt, followed by lunch. More details to follow.
